TECHNOLOGY OF THE DISTRIBUTED REGISTRY (BLOCKED): HISTORICAL ASPECT

Abstract. One of the trends in the development of the modern economy is the digitization of economic relations through the using of new technologies. These include the distributed registry technology, or the blockchain. The potential applications of the blockchain are already striking in their diversity, and the perceived benefits from its incorporation into modern financial architecture determine a genuine interest in technology from the representatives of the financial market and contribute to the organization of comprehensive research of the blockchain. The purpose of this article is to explore the historical aspects of the development of a distributed registry technology. Despite the relevance inherent to the topic related to the reseach of blockchain technology, the area of questions considered in the article does not have a high degree of knowledge, which in turn increases the significance of the survey. The article reflects the main stages of technology development: from the appearance of its individual elements to the current state.
