INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract. The main source of economic growth is innovation. Kazakhstan has set the task to transform the country's raw materials economy into an innovative one. In this regard, it is important to conduct a study of the main directions of innovative development of the Republic, as well as to identify the problems of transition to the innovative path. The purpose of the article is to analyze the innovative development of Kazakhstan, to identify achievements and problems, as well as the directions of innovative development of the Republic. The article gives a theoretical substantiation of the need to use the achievements of NTP as a source of economic growth, shows the goals and objectives of innovative development of Kazakhstan, including industries - mining and metallurgy, fuel and energy, manufacturing, telecommunications; Problems of industrial-innovative development, the role of programming and planning in the innovation process are considered. The practical significance of the research results is the possibility of their use in the further development of this problem, as well as in the educational process in universities.
