Tsvetkov V.A. was awarded the medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow".

Valeriy Anatolyevich is the winner of the contest "Best Economists of the Russian Academy of Sciences" (2002–2003).

Contribution to economic science:

  • the methodological foundations of the theory of economic development in conditions of instability and the concept of innovation-investment and advanced development in a transformational economy were developed;
  • original models for improving the ways of regulating cyclical fluctuations in macroeconomic dynamics and the strategy of advanced development were developed and tested;
  • proposed a qualitatively new methodology for assessing the impact of industrial integration on the state of industrial and economic complexes was proposed, taking into account the definition of general and special conditions and factors of economic growth;
  • the main patterns of formation and features of the functioning of large economic regions as specific objects of economic planning and development were identified, taking into account possible ways of their integration into the world economy.

More than 370 scientific papers are registered in the RSCI, including 20 in publications indexed in Scopus; Web of Science — 27.
