Member of the editorial board of the magazine «Energy Efficiency and Resource Conservation», an expert on the program «Helicopters of the XXI century» of the state corporation «Helicopters of Russia».

The presence of awards, incentives: the Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Science and Education of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Laureate of Government Prizes and the Governor of the Orenburg Region in the field of science and technology, diplomas and thanks of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the rector of the university, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce, the Head of Administration and the Chairman of the Government, the Legislative Assembly of the Orenburg Region for many years of fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, for training highly scientific qualifications, for scientific achievements in the field of basic and applied research. Professor N. Sultanov is included in the All-Russian directory «Scientists of Russia», a scientific biography published in the international encyclopedia «Who is who in Russia». By the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural History of 11.18.2014, he was awarded the honorary title «Founder of a Scientific School: Intellectual Technologies in Industrial-Technical, Transport and Socio-Economic Systems».
