IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNIQUE OF ASSESSMENT OF AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD OF THE AUTOMOTIVE ALTERNATOR
The relevance of the studied problem is caused by insufficient informational content and considerable labor input of the existing methods of diagnosing of automotive alternators. The purpose of article consists in justification of the offered method of diagnosing of generators in parameters of external magnetic field. The leading method to a research of this problem is assessment of parameters of external magnetic field allowing to recognize electric malfunctions of the automotive alternator of a different stage of development. It is established that the oscillogram of external magnetic field represents a periodic signal which form, and amplitude are sensitive to technical condition of the generator. The optimum point on the surface of the generator, carrying out measurements in which provides unambiguity of diagnostic parameter, is chosen. Materials of article can be used for further development and deployment of the offered method of diagnosing of automotive alternators.
Keywords :automotive alternator, external magnetic field, magnitude of magnetic field, fault of the alternator
