KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY
In the early 1990s, knowledge management developed exclusively as a scientific discipline, but it made a special contribution to the development of the private sector, where such concepts as "competitive advantage of the company" and "knowledge capital" appeared. One of the reasons for this development was the emergence of information and communication technologies. The purpose of this article is to study the formal models of knowledge management in the organization and assess the possibility of their use in the digital economy. The relevance of the work is determined by the fact that modern network and virtual organizations are beginning to realize that knowledge becomes a product and resource that is constantly reproduced and used. Based on the analysis, the author concludes that the success of the organization depends on the dissemination and increase of knowledge among employees at all levels. The results of the study demonstrate that the knowledge possessed by employees is becoming prerequisites for achieving competitive advantages of the organization.
