ON APPROACHES TO THE FORMATION OF AN EFFECTIVE SYSTEM OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Abstract. The article is an attempt to formulate and show the complexity of the task of building and managing a public transport system in an urban area. The article proposes a special way to evaluate the purpose of public transport through the specification of tasks that are being solved. The conceptual approaches and requirements for the subjects of relationships at various levels of system construction are presented. The article describes the stages of designing a route network of public transport, as well as technologies and algorithms for mathematical search for solutions.
