METHODOLOGY FOR INCREASING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF VEHICLES IN THE TRANSPORT SERVICE OF A METALLURGICAL ENTERPRISE

Abstract. The relevance of the chosen research topic is due to the desire of the owners of metallurgical enterprises to increase the efficiency of transport services for production processes. The reliability of transport services for metallurgical production, as a rule, is ensured by the excess carrying capacity of the fleet, which reduces the productivity of the rolling stock and the efficiency of its operation. This is due to forced downtime on the line, discrepancies between the technical parameters of vehicles and the weight and size characteristics of the goods being transported, and large idle runs. The situation is complicated by the peculiarity of motor transport services for metallurgical production, which consists in the fact that most of the fleet consists of specialized or re-equipped equipment for the needs of production workshops, and its release to the line and mode of operation is determined by the rhythm of the work of metallurgical units.

An effective solution to this problem is the automation of monitoring the loss of carrying capacity of an industrial fleet based on the use of digital transport management systems (Transportation Management System, TMS). However, for the digitalization of transportation, it is necessary to study the influence of the parameters of the transport process on the performance of vehicles and the cost of transportation of technological goods of metallurgical production. It is also required to develop a mathematical apparatus for quantifying the loss of carrying capacity of the vehicle fleet and a methodology for increasing the productivity of vehicles.

In this regard, it can be argued that the purpose of this study, which consists in the development of a mathematical apparatus for quantifying the loss of the carrying capacity of the fleet and a methodology for improving the performance of vehicles, is aimed at solving an urgent scientific and practical problem.

Theoretical studies were carried out on the basis of the analysis of scientific and normative-technical literature, system, factorial and technical and economic analysis, mathematical modeling, expert assessments. Experimental studies were carried out in the conditions of operating motor transport enterprises using the methods of mathematical statistics, computer modeling, field observations.

The main results that have scientific novelty are: mathematical models for calculating the carrying capacity of a vehicle fleet during the transportation of technological goods and indicators for quantifying the loss of carrying capacity. The practical significance of the results obtained is provided by the proposed method for increasing the productivity of vehicles in the transport service of a metallurgical enterprise.

Further research is supposed to be carried out in the direction of the development of digital control systems for road transport.
