Abstract. Ensuring the performance of car suspension is one of the factors of safe and comfortable movement. One of the expensive suspension elements are shock absorbers. At the same time, their durability is often insufficient, due to fatigue damage of silent blocks. The restoration of such interfaces by traditional methods by replacing with repair kits similar to the standard design does not solve this problem.

A reserve for increasing the durability of shock absorbers is the improvement of the method of restoration of silent blocks due to the use of repair kits containing tribo-couples operating on new principles - sliding bearings with movable conical spring inserts.

The goal is to increase the durability of car shock absorbers by substantiating technical and technological solutions of innovative repair kits for silent blocks.

The design of the repair kit for the silent block of the shock absorber is theoretically justified. The repair kit consists of a modified standard silent block and additional elements - a steel sleeve and a conical spring insert. The technology of manufacturing the repair kit is presented. The theoretical background of the development of the repair kit for the silent block of the shock absorber of the car is confirmed by the results of experimental studies, as well as observations in operating conditions.

The theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that there is a wider understanding of the methods for restoring silent blocks of shock absorbers by repair kits containing movable conical spring inserts. stresses in the rubber with a conical spring insert and the presence in the formed bearing of such phenomena as the «ratchet effect», «oil-squeezing thread effect» and «wear-free effect»; Compared with a repair kit containing a cylindrical spring insert, manufacturing and assembly costs are reduced by lowering the accuracy requirements for work surfaces of parts.

The presented results of scientific research can be used to develop new technical and technological solutions for restoring the operability of nodes of transport equipment, where there are interfaces that work under heavy loads and make reverse-rotational movements.

Key words: repair kit, silent block, spring inserts, shock absorbers.
