ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF INTERACTION BETWEEN SCIENCE, EDUCATION AND BUSINESS IN RUSSIA

Abstract. The interaction of science, education and business in a market environment is one of the effective tools for sustainable development of national competitiveness. Strengthening the activity of such interaction contributes to solving urgent problems related to improving the research potential, culture and quality of educational institutions, and the intensification of international cooperation. The aim of the study is to identify the economic aspects of the Russian experience in using various forms of interaction between science and education and business in the market and the formation of measures to coordinate the activities of the main participants in the process of generating and disseminating knowledge. The methodological basis of scientific research was made by such modern general scientific research methods as: comparative analysis, statistical, abstract-logical methods used to justify the socio-economic aspects of the integration of science, education, and innovation. The scientific novelty of the study is to develop recommendations for coordinating the activities of the main participants in the process of generating and disseminating knowledge. As a result of the study, factors of the interaction of science, education and business have been identified that contribute to the achievement of Russia’s competitive advantages on a global scale. The factors of the mutual influence of the processes of formation and reproduction of the scientific and educational complex and business in the manufacturing sector, contributing to the development of the Russian economy, are studied. The paper formulates the main problems and trends in the development of integration processes between science, education and the business sector in the context of socio-economic and technological transformation in Russia. Some directions are proposed for improving scientific and technical policy and identifying priority areas in order to create a prosperous knowledge society and an economy based on innovation.
