THE CONTOURS OF TECHNOLOGICAL BREAKTHROUGH OF RUSSIA AND THE ORENBURG REGION

Abstarct. Russia has been set the task of becoming one of the five economies in the world by 2024. The Russian regions must take an active part in this task. Therefore, the study of issues related to the implementation of technological breakthrough in Russia and the regions is an urgent task of economic science. The aim of the article is to conduct analysis of trends in the implementation of the technological breakthrough of the country in General and the Orenburg region. In the preparation methods were used for analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, grouping, table, etc. The article considers the main directions of technological development of Russia and the Orenburg region, shows the starting conditions for this in the Orenburg region, proposes a program of action for the region; the development of basic sectors of the economy – agriculture and traditional industries and the creation of new industries, innovation, development of science and education, improving the management of the region.
